The Starting Point
This website began as a simple, unoptimized page — one article, no technical SEO foundation, no search engine presence, and no way for potential visitors to actually find it. The goal was to turn it into a fully functioning, search-ready site using the same practices applied to client work.
What Was Done
Over the course of building this site out, the following was implemented:
- Technical SEO foundation — canonical tags on every page, a clean sitemap.xml, and a properly configured robots.txt to guide search engine crawlers.
- Structured data (Schema.org markup) — Article and Organization schema added to every page, helping search engines understand and potentially display rich results.
- On-page SEO — optimized title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, and internal linking across every article.
- Search engine registration — the site was submitted to and verified in both Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, with sitemaps submitted to each.
- Social sharing optimization — Open Graph and Twitter Card tags configured so links display properly with images and descriptions when shared.
- Content strategy — a structured blog covering core topics (SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Email Marketing, Social Media, Analytics), each with internal linking to related articles.
- Off-page groundwork — initial backlink building through republishing content on Medium, linking back to the original site.
- Ongoing technical fixes — resolving duplicate content issues, broken tags, and crawl errors identified through Search Console and third-party audit tools.
Results So Far
Since implementation, the site has been successfully indexed by both Google and Bing, with Bing confirming a clean sitemap read of all pages with zero errors. Early Analytics data shows visitors engaging with multiple pages per session and spending several minutes actively reading content — a strong early signal that the content and structure are working as intended.
This is an ongoing project, and results will continue to be updated here as search rankings and traffic develop over time. SEO is a long-term process — this page will reflect that honestly, rather than promising overnight results.
The Approach, Applied to Your Business
Every fix and strategy used here is the same approach applied to client projects — grounded in real technical implementation, not just advice. Whether it's fixing a slow-loading site, cleaning up duplicate content issues, or building a content strategy from scratch, the process is hands-on and transparent.
